FRCS Mentor is a non-profit association of surgeons who are exuberant about surgical education aiming that this would ultimately lead to improved patients' care all over the globe.

The FRCS Mentor is a non-profit network of Orthopaedic Surgeons who are enthusiastic about surgical education. The aim is to facilitate surgical knowledge exchange by establishing successful mentorship to orthopaedic candidates preparing for their exit FRCS Exams. Ultimately, this would drive improved patients' care all over the globe.

Our online problem-based platform includes several components; a communication platform, via various applications, that includes hundreds of surgeons at different stages of their careers, from around the world. These concise revision notes are aimed at candidates preparing for the UK and international FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) exit examination as well as the European Board (EBOT) and SICOT diplomas. These notes were edited by Mr Firas Arnaout and the FRCS mentor faculty as well as invited expert authors. 

The book has been written in an easy to read style, with a focus on being an exam candidate’s companion for quick revision on the go. Candidates are usually caught between a busy job and the demands of these challenging exams. This book covers the depth and breadth of Trauma & Orthopaedics knowledge to help candidates sail through the Fellowship exit examinations.

We have aimed to provide a high quality one-stop concise knowledge bank to cover the whole syllabus of Trauma & Orthopaedics in a well-organised bullet point style.
